KUDZU

This is a space for moments that don’t otherwise fit within my main body of work, Sound and Fury, that I am using as a way to practice and improve my writing skills. Each photograph or photographs is a new leaf on the kudzu vine, each possessing a unique story of Southern culture, history, or humanity; a moment that I find valuable to capturing the Southern experience. Unlike my main body of work, these images are tied to their stories, to my personal experiences and not those of The South as a whole. Though this is a place of drafts and mistakes, I hope to eventually cover this page with completed leaves that together may tell their own story of strife and suffering, and the long arc of the moral universe bending towards justice.
